Ryan joined Vaquero Private Wealth in 2021, after spending 19 years at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Before that, he worked in the advisory services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He works collaboratively with families to understand their financial purpose and construct strategies expressly tailored to help them pursue their collective goals. Ryan leverages his experience working with technology entrepreneurs to bring the best available digital resources to the capital management and financial planning processes. He was named to Forbes "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" list in 2018, 2019 and 2020.* Ryan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation. He is a graduate of The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a BBA in finance. Ryan serves as Secretary of the Estate Planning Council of North Texas, is a past Advisory Board member for the Dallas Estate Planning Council and is a member of the CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth. He also volunteers for Angel Flight South Central, Big Brothers Big Sisters and his church. Ryan is an instrument-rated private pilot who enjoys cycling, flying, golf and travel. He resides in Preston Hollow with his wife Rachel, and three children, Cosette, Pierce and Darcy.
